University of Ground Fighting

University of Ground Fighting (UofGF) is a martial arts academy that teaches American Jiu-Jitsu. The academy has a team of experienced coaches, including Owner and Head Coach Steven Patterson, who has over 30 years of experience in martial arts and has won numerous gold medals. The academy's program for kids, known as KiDs Jiu-Jitsu, aims to build strong minds, bodies, and character in children aged 4-13. The program focuses on respect, focus, and effort, and helps kids develop skills such as control, balance, and timing. For adults, UofGF offers a complete grappling system that combines Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and judo, emphasizing self-defense and technical mastery. The academy believes in building confidence, mental toughness, and focus in its students, and offers a supportive and welcoming community for all its members.
