Watanabe Judo and Aikido

Watanabe Judo & Aikido, founded by Sensei Katsuo Watanabe, is a dojo in Valhalla, NY that has been a beacon of traditional martial arts excellence for over six decades. Sensei Watanabe, an 8th Degree Black Belt, is a pioneer of judo in the United States, dedicated to developing the sport since the 1960s. The dojo has produced over 50 students who have achieved Shodan or higher, including notable Olympians. Emphasizing a blend of traditional Japanese martial arts principles and modern training methods, Watanabe Judo & Aikido welcomes students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, fostering a sense of community and legacy in martial arts.
