Detroit Martial Arts Institute

Detroit Martial Arts Institute, founded by Grand Masters George Reynolds and Eugene Woods in 2004, is one of the largest martial arts gyms in Detroit, spanning 7,500 square feet. The dojo offers a variety of programs for children, teens, adults, and individuals with special needs, including children's classes, pre-school 'Lil Dragons', adult classes, self-defense, and aerobic Mitt Fit classes. Additionally, it provides after-school programs and summer camps, serving as a community cornerstone by ensuring a safe environment for kids while their parents are at work. The dojo emphasizes the development of valuable life skills such as confidence, focus, and self-control through martial arts training.
