About Us
Taekwondo Works offers instruction in traditional taekwondo for both children and adults. Our instruction combines self-defense, exercise, and sport. Students can expect to reap benefits often associated with martial arts and athletics: increased strength, stamina, and flexibility; improved concentration and self-confidence; and knowledge of self-defense. We find that, across the board, taekwondo training enhances quality of life. Traditional taekwondo includes strikes with the hands, elbows, and knees, as well as blocks. Our classes always include a warm-up and stretching element, and we favor a friendly teaching style in a safe environment.
