Kid Gloves Boxing Foundation

Kid Gloves Boxing Foundation was established in the mid-1950s by Frankie Goodman, a Harvard professor who taught boxing to children and youth in Los Angeles. The foundation aims to provide personal success opportunities for troubled youth and instill the importance of a healthy mind and body. Located in Simi Valley, California, the foundation also supports veterans through a no-contact boxing-style fitness regimen to help alleviate the effects of PTSD. The legacy of five generations of boxers, including the Ortiz family, continues to inspire and empower the next generation of fighters.
