Independent Martial Arts Federation

The Independent Martial Arts Federation is an organization that supports martial artists of all styles. It was founded in 1999 by Robert Shook, Kirk Simmons, and Chuck Harrison, who wanted to provide practitioners with rank recognition, school support, and training opportunities without the restrictions of traditional martial arts organizations. The federation promotes the growth of instructors and their schools, and offers its members promotion opportunities, home study courses, and student membership packages. It teaches various martial arts styles, including Chinese Dragon Kempo, Close Quarter Fighting, Goshin Kara-Te, Warrior Spirit Hapkido, and Warrior Spirit Jujitsu, among others. The federation has members in many countries around the world and provides resources and support to martial artists of all levels.
