Akron Kung Fu Academy

Welcome to the Akron Kung Fu Academy. We provide instruction in 7-Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu and Yang style Tai Chi. 7-Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu is one of the most popular branches of Shaolin Kung Fu practiced globally. The Mantis system combines fast grabbing hands and powerful arms with quick and nimble footwork. It is highly effective for self-defense. Yang Style Tai Chi is the most widely practiced tai chi style, promoting robust health and suitable for all ages. Tai Chi features fluid movements designed to control, disable, and redirect an attack. A variety of Chinese herbal formulas are also available from the Academy.
