Traditional Aikido of Sonoma

Traditional Aikido of Sonoma is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the Aikido taught by Morihei Ueshiba, the founder, in Iwama, Japan. Established under the guidance of Dennis Tatoian, this dojo has been serving the Sonoma County community for over 15 years. It emphasizes the philosophy of true Budo, which is about uniting with the center of the Universe, giving life, and nurturing all things rather than fighting or killing. As one of the founding member dojos of the Takemusu Aikido Association, it is committed to preserving the teachings of Morihiro Saito Shihan and providing a space for practitioners to learn and grow in their Aikido journey.
