Okaigan Dojo

Okaigan Dojo has been teaching in Cupertino for over 39 years as a traditional, family-oriented karate school specializing in Shotokan karate instruction for both children and adults. Offering classes seven days a week, we cater to all levels from beginner to advanced. Our classes focus on teaching respect, concentration, and self-discipline while honing traditional karate skills such as kihon (basics), kata (forms), kumite (sparring), and bo (weapons: staff) training. The dojo is affiliated with the USA-NKF, the governing body for Karate recognized by the US Olympic Committee. Our students regularly compete at the national level, achieving numerous National Championships and securing spots on the United States Junior Karate Team, along with medals in international competitions.
