About Us
Metro Taekwondo is a non-commercial program offered through the Red Morton Community Center and Casa Circulo Cultural in Redwood City, CA. This Korean martial art program incorporates both modern sport and traditional art, emphasizing respect, discipline, and a positive attitude towards learning. Students develop essential athletic skills such as endurance, strength, speed, flexibility, and balance. Since its inception in 1997, MetroTKD has provided students with opportunities to compete in local tournaments and achieve black belt certification through the Kukkiwon. Students are welcome to try the first class for free.
