About Us
Kenshinkan Dojo is a martial arts center that teaches Aikido, a self-defense art developed by Morihei Ueshiba in the early 1900s. The dojo aims to foster the development of its students through a dynamic teaching style developed by Chief Instructor Ken MacBeth, a 6th degree black belt with 40 years of training experience. The dojo is affiliated with the Aikido Association of America and proudly traces its lineage to the Hombu Dojo in Japan. At Kenshinkan Dojo, students can learn various Aikido styles and techniques, including those for adult and kids classes, as well as weapons training. The dojo's philosophy is centered around harmonizing with the spirit of the Universe and practicing God's love within oneself.
