Zen Bu Kan

The Zen Bu Kan School Of Traditional Japanese Swordsmanship was founded in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1998. It is affiliated with several kendo federations and emphasizes traditional training through an unbroken lineage that dates back to 16th century Japan. The school promotes Samurai ethics and culture through the practice of Muso-Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaido and modern Kendo. The philosophy encourages students to learn from wise individuals and to embrace the 'way of knowing.'
