Palm Springs Karate Academy

Palm Springs Karate Academy is the oldest karate school in Palm Springs, established in 1988 under Sensei Guy Holtzman, an 8th Dan in the traditional Matsumura Seito Shorin Ryu Koeppel-Ha style of Karate. The academy teaches Matsumura Seito Shorin Ryu Karate training, which includes private lessons and weapons training. The style is a traditional form of karate that emphasizes discipline, respect, and self-control. Sensei Holtzman has achieved numerous titles and recognitions, including being recognized by the United State Karate Association (USKA) in their Hall of Fame and the United State Karate Do Kai (USKK) in their International Bushido Society.
