Aikido of Minnesota

Aikido of Minnesota is a martial art school that teaches the art of Aikido, a style created by Morihei Ueshiba. The dojo's mission is to polish one's mind and body, and produce an individual of high integrity. Aikido training focuses on improving one's character according to the rules of nature, and emphasizes spherical rotation, flowing, circular motions to control and overcome an opponent. The style is centered around the Eastern concept of Ki, the universal creative principle, and seeks to unite this Ki with the Ki found within each person. The dojo is a non-profit organization that offers classes for children and adults, and is grounded in the welcoming spirit of Aikido in a diverse family atmosphere.
