Amarillo Karate-Taekwon Do

Amarillo Karate & Fitness is a martial arts school that has been in operation since 1981. They offer classes for children and adults, teaching various styles including Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Boxing, MMA, and Krav Maga. Their program focuses on building confidence, self-discipline, and respect in students, as well as teaching self-defense and bully-proofing techniques. The school has a strong emphasis on character development and has been voted "Best School for Children" seven times. They offer a free two-week training period for new students and have a certified instructor with over 100 first-place wins after the age of 55. Their classes are held six days a week, and they have a central location that is accessible from anywhere in Amarillo. The school's owner, Harvey Sensei, is a 10th-degree GrandMaster Black Belt with a direct lineage from Great Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee. He has made multiple appearances in action movies and has a doctoral degree in Asian Martial Arts & Philosophy.
