Upper Academy Florida

Upper Academy Florida is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training center in the Hudson/Spring Hill area. Its mission is to bring instruction and passion for jiu jitsu to inspire people to be their best selves. The center believes jiu jitsu is a lifestyle that improves the whole person physically and mentally, going beyond being just a sport, self-defense system or fitness program. The academy is owned and led by Head Coach Walber 'Tete' Barros, a 4th degree black belt under Master Andre Pederneiras.
