Shoshin Karate-Do International

Shoshin Karate-Do International is a traditional Shotokan karate school, following the JKA karate tradition of Master Funakoshi and Nakayama. The dojo emphasizes the importance of a beginner's mind, character, etiquette, and fundamentals in karate training. It is led by Sensei Hessam, a 6th Dan instructor who carries on the legacy of his teachers and the tradition of Shotokan Karate-Do. The school values seriousness, diligence, and adherence to traditional codes of etiquette, and it is not a place for entertainment or sport karate. It is a place for those who are serious about the martial art and want to gain self-confidence, mental clarity, peacefulness, and a new perspective on life.
