At Apex Jiu-Jitsu, the focus is on reality-based self defense. They teach Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, a martial art that includes striking, clinching, takedowns, and submissions, with a unique emphasis on ground techniques. The instructors are veteran police officers with decades of experience. They provide integrated courses that combine hands-on experience with knowledge-based teaching. The academy offers classes for kids and adults, teaching personal safety, responsibility, and respect, as well as over 100 techniques to counter commonly found attacks. The academy also offers specialty seminars for groups, including women's self defense and LEO defensive tactics.
