Mejishi Martial Arts, Inc.

Mejishi Martial Arts is a community of peaceful warriors that embraces diversity in age, gender, ethnicity, and physical abilities. Located in Ferndale, it offers a welcoming environment for families to join. The dojo provides classes in Karate for children, teens, and adults, as well as Modern Arnis, which is Filipino Stick Fighting. The head instructor, Sensei Jaye Spiro, is a 10th degree black belt recognized for her expertise in Ai Mute Shoto-kan Karate, Modern Arnis, and Balintawak Escrima. The dojo also emphasizes self-defense, empowering students through hands-on exercises to understand their ability to make choices.
