Mythic Combat Academy: PAK MEI Kung Fu

The dojo, called the PAK MEI Kung Fu, offers a unique southern Chinese martial art system called Pak Mei or White Eyebrow Kung Fu. This martial art emphasizes powerful close-quarters combat striking and clinch work, and provides a hands-on experience with guided pressure testing. The dojo has a long history, dating back to 1974 when it was first taught openly in NYC by the late 5th generation Master Kwong Man Fong. Today, Chris continues his uncle's charge as a 7th generation instructor, teaching the true teachings of the art. The dojo has joined forces with the Uptown Hive to offer BJJ, Wrestling, and MMA classes in addition to PAK MEI Kung Fu.
