Charles Bayou School of Taekwondo

CBS Taekwondo is a school that teaches the art of Taekwondo, a Korean martial art that emphasizes discipline, integrity, and respect. The school's creed is 'Integrity, Respect, Perfection' and it was founded by Master Charles Bayou in Rockville, Maryland. The school provides training for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, and its curriculum is designed to respond to each level of training. Taekwondo techniques are based on the design of the body, and students learn to coordinate speed and power to develop a concentration that can focus all of their body's strength into a small, hard striking surface. The school also teaches self-defense techniques that can be used against an attacker's vulnerable parts, and it helps students develop self-confidence by teaching them to defend themselves. The school is led by Grand Master Charles Bayou, a 7th Dan Black Belt, World Champion of Taekwondo, Olympic Head Coach, and International Instructor of Taekwondo.
