Great Lake T'ai Chi Ch'uan is a teaching center that helps students reconnect with themselves, manage stress, and reduce the effects of wear and tear on the body through the practice of T'ai Chi. This ancient Chinese martial art is ideal for athletes looking to train more rigorously, as well as for those seeking a mind-body practice that can serve them well through all of life's changes, including physical limitations of injury, illness, and aging. The practice of T'ai Chi is centered around five basic principles: relaxation, body upright, separation of weight, moving from the waist, and beautiful lady's wrist. It is about discovering oneself, understanding the forces of the world, and staying centered throughout changes.
