Velez Jiu Jitsu

Velez Jiu Jitsu is a black belt owned Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy located in Avenel, NJ. Established in 2010, our main focus is to teach Jiu Jitsu for sport, self defense, and recreation. We proudly serve Veterans, Law Enforcement, Corrections, Emergency Services, and Government Employees. Our dojo offers programs for kids and adults, welcoming all levels. With an experienced head instructor who has over 30 years of martial arts training and more than 15 years of teaching, we provide a strong community of dedicated students. The training environment is safe for all levels, and our clean facility is conveniently located with ample parking.
