Phillips Jiu Jitsu is a premium boutique Gracie Allegiance Jiu Jitsu studio located in the heart of Rancho Palos Verdes, specializing in Youth & Teen programs beginning as early as 3.5 years old. The studio offers various programs for different age groups, including Mini Groms, Teens, Groms, and Adults. Mini Groms is a foundation-based Jiu Jitsu class for younger kids, focusing on Jiu Jitsu based games, core fundamental movements, and building block techniques. Teens is a fast-paced program for performance, learning and maintaining the foundations of Jiu Jitsu while adding speed, pressure, and precision into dynamic movements. Groms is a class for kids aged 6-9 years, building on foundational movements and positions to become independent Jiu Jitsu practitioners. Adults can participate in a private group with Professor Menamy Mitanes & Brian Phillips. The studio is owned and operated by Brian and Nicole Phillips, who have extensive experience in Jiu Jitsu and education.
