The Glendale Karate Training Center is part of the International Karate Association, which was founded in 1953 by Soke Takayuki Kubota in Tokyo, Japan. The association's mission is to preserve and promote traditional Japanese karate. They teach Gosoku Ryu—“Hard and Fast Style” Karate, which was created by blending techniques from Shotokan and Goju-Ryu styles with the founder's own innovations. The dojo has different plans to fit various finances and has no contracts.
