Traditional Karate Association

The Traditional Karate Association was founded in 1980 by Mariah Adams, 6th Dan, Shihan Dai. The organization aims to preserve 'Traditional Values' within the martial arts, including Honesty, Trustworthiness, Kindness, Truthfulness, and Loyalty. They practice various martial arts techniques such as Kihon, Kata, Kumite, and Goshin Budo. The association adheres to principles like patience and believes that achieving a black belt is not easy. They accept new members who must be prepared to submit documentation of their rank for review. The Hombu Dojo, led by Ricky Adams - 9th Dan, Hanshi, PhDMA, is a member of several notable organizations including World United Karate Organization, International Karate Kobudo Union, and American Martial Arts Council.
