Southern Oregon Martial Arts Academy

SOMA Academy is a martial arts school that helps students build lasting confidence, self-respect, and the tools to walk boldly through life with their heads held high. They offer various martial arts styles, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA, in a positive and supportive environment. The head instructor, Jesse Newell, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and has over 30 years of experience in combat sports. He leads with a passion for martial arts and personal growth, and his goal is to help each student grow into the strongest version of themselves, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
