SSK Jersey City Kendo

SSK Kendo offers premier instruction in the traditional Japanese art of kendo, right here in Jersey City and its surrounding areas. At SSK Kendo, our practice builds not only physical strength, fitness, and coordination but also deepens self-awareness, determination, and mental resilience. We strive to train hard and aim for a community that becomes healthy and positive. SSK Kendo teaches traditional Japanese kendo and welcomes everyone interested in learning the art, with no prior experience required. The dojo is led by Stephen Kang, who has been training in kendo since 2003 and holds an AUSKF Kendo 6 Dan rank.
