Checkmat Myrtle Beach is a martial arts school that specializes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). They offer classes for kids, teens, and adults of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced students. Their program includes training in both Gi and NoGi BJJ uniforms throughout the week, focusing on self-defense, sports, confidence building, self-esteem, bully proofing, flexibility, and overall physical wellness. They also have a competition team that trains to compete in tournaments held by organizations such as IBJJF, NAGA, and Newbreed.
