Shudokan Aikido of Houston

Shudokan Aikido is a founding member of the Shudokan Aikido Association, a traditional Japanese martial arts school established in 2004. For almost 20 years, we have been teaching Aikikai Aikido, emphasizing effective self-defense, personal discipline, and a deep understanding of Aikido principles. Our dojo promotes harmony and non-aggression, focusing on redirecting and controlling an attacker's force. Techniques include joint locks, throws, and pins, making Aikido accessible to all ages and abilities. We are affiliated with Aikido World Headquarters and Suginami Aikikai in Tokyo, Japan, continuing the legacy of our founder and his teachings.
