Valley Women's Martial Arts

Heron's Bridge/Valley Women's Martial Arts is a non-profit, collaboratively led, member-oriented school and community center since 1977. It offers multi-disciplinary arts education based in feminist social justice activism. Classes, workshops, and events include instruction in martial arts, movement meditation, empowerment skills, self-protection and self-care strategies, healing and peace-building methods, interpretive dance, poetry, and more. The dojo welcomes participants of any gender, physical/mental ability, race, creed, ethnicity, socio-economic background, sexual orientation, and body size. It conducts classes and workshops by experienced certified instructors at various venues.
