Mastin Dojo

Mastin Dojo is dedicated to teaching traditional Okinawan Matsubayashi Shorin Ryu Karate, preserving the legacy and teachings of the late Soke Takayoshi Nagamine. As the only school in the Midwestern United States supported by Nagamine Sensei, Mastin Dojo fosters a close-knit family atmosphere developed over two decades. The dojo aims to help individuals enhance their lives through martial arts training, focusing on real karate in a traditional setting rather than sport. With a diverse range of students from various backgrounds, including professionals, veterans, and children, the dojo promotes personal growth and community support. The goal is to create champion individuals who can positively impact their lives and those around them.
