Upstate Karate Family Martial Arts Center

Upstate Karate is a family-owned dojo that has been serving the Upstate area since 1983. They are dedicated to helping others develop confidence through self-defense skills and provide the highest quality karate instruction in the area. The dojo is home to the legendary Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson and offers a range of programs including after-school programs, birthday parties, and summer camps. The facility is modern and well-equipped, with a 20,000 square foot space that includes a full-size kickboxing ring, a 24 ft cage, and a workout room. The instructors use modern teaching techniques that focus on the nature and structure of conflicts and resolving them peacefully.
