Shadow Combatives & Self-Defense is a dojo that offers a dynamic approach to personal protection. They have a hybrid-system that blends striking, grappling, and weapon defense into one cohesive method, drawing from Traditional Japanese Jujutsu and Shinobi no Jutsu. They offer two distinct programs: Kage Bujutsu (Shadow Martial Arts) and Kobud[ō] (Shisenkan Kobudō Federation). Kage Bujutsu is a modern and simplified combatives & self-defense program that combines various martial arts styles. Kobud[ō] is an elite and traditional battlefield-based martial arts program that emphasizes mastery of technique, principle, kata, history, spirituality, and ancient skills used by the legendary warriors of feudal Japan. The dojo is led by Head Instructor Omar Gilani and Assistant Instructor Rocky Melton and fosters a supportive environment that emphasizes unity and reminds students that they are never alone in their journey.
