The dojo teaches and practices Aikido as a martial art, with a strong emphasis on martial effectiveness, balance, coordination, and self-discipline. The dojo's training methods are safe and effective, and they offer a well-developed weapons curriculum employing both sword (Aiki-Ken) and staff (Aiki-Jo). The dojo's instructors have more than 40 years of combined experience and hold certification in Iwama-Ryu Aikido weapons.
