About Us
Prime Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a community-focused and inclusive martial arts training center serving Colorado Springs. It teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a martial art that originated in Rio de Janeiro, the birthplace of the sport. The academy is led by Professor Marcelo Motta, a fourth-degree black belt with 35 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He aims to teach the art in the same way he learned it in Rio de Janeiro, using authentic techniques that have produced BJJ champions. The academy has a winning tradition, having produced over 10 world champions across all color belts and a significant presence in prestigious IBJJF competitions.
