About Us
Welcome to Blackhorse Jiu-Jitsu, an Army OIF veteran-owned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school located in Downers Grove, IL. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and positive environment for students of all ages to learn this challenging martial art. We focus on both self-defense and sport aspects of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, offering classes for children as young as 4. Our curriculum promotes discipline, confidence, and physical fitness, helping students grow both on and off the mats. We believe Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is not just a martial art, but a way of life that fosters community and personal growth.
