Aikido Center of Atlanta

The Aikido Center of Atlanta is one of the oldest aikido dojos in the continental United States. It teaches Aikido, a Japanese Martial art based on techniques derived from traditional Samurai battle tactics. Developed by Morihei Ueshiba, Aikido is a purely defensive art that blends with and redirects the power of the attack, resulting in the attacker being thrown or immobilized. The dojo offers adults & kids classes and is proud of its long affiliation with the United States Aikido Federation and the Aikido world headquarters. Aikido is not a sport or a game, but a path or way which, if practiced diligently, can enhance all aspects of one's life.
