About Us
Cleveland Kendo Association is a martial arts school in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, established in 1986. It practices a combination of drills, techniques, sparring, and kata with an emphasis on rei-ho and self-improvement. The school teaches Kendo, a traditional Japanese martial art defined as the 'Way of the Sword', which aims to discipline the human character through the application of the principles of the katana. The association is a member of The Greater North Eastern U.S. Kendo Federation and The International Kendo Federation.
