About Us
Illinois Shotokan Karate Clubs is a thriving dojo with a history dating back to 1978 when John DiPasquale created his own karate dojo. The club has since expanded to serve more than 75 park districts throughout the Chicagoland area and has over 6,000 students. They offer classes for ages 4 and up and teach various styles of karate. The club's instructors are highly experienced, with some having world-class experiences. Illinois Shotokan Karate Clubs focuses on teaching more than just physical skills, but also mental discipline, focus, respect, and self-esteem.
