About Us
The 1.8.7 Boxing Club, established in 2016, is the leading boxing club in the Sauganash area with highly trained coaches. It was founded by Sammy Merza, a retired professional boxer inducted into the Illinois Boxing Hall of Fame in 2017. The club offers various styles of boxing and is suitable for everyone who loves the sport, starting from the age of 8 years old. The club's motto is 'Where We Kill Body Fat,' and it is USA Boxing certified.
