About Us
West Linn Ki Aikido is a non-profit, all-volunteer community dojo that teaches the martial art of Aikido. Aikido is a Japanese martial art that aims to harmonize the mind and body, redirecting an opponent's attack without causing injury. The dojo is certified by the International Ki Society and teaches various styles of Aikido, including Ki-Aikido, which focuses on building an understanding of Ki and meditation. Ki-Aikido combines elements of Japanese Yoga, Zazen meditation, and Misogi meditation.
