Checkmat BTX

Checkmat bTX is a martial arts school that teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The dojo offers classes for kids and adults, where students can learn techniques that help with body manipulation, cardio, and jiu-jitsu. The school focuses on individuality and allows students to develop their own game. The training includes gi and no-gi classes, and students can learn from experienced instructors. The founder, Jose Gutierrez, is a black belt and has trained with Master Leo Vieira and other world-class grapplers. He established Checkmat bTX in Brownsville, Texas, to introduce the California-style jiu-jitsu scene to the area.
