The Ueshiro Okinawan Family Karate Dojo is a traditional karate school that has continued a centuries-old tradition of passing down the art from parent to child and teacher to students for 20 years in Happy Valley. They train in Shorin-Ryu karate, an authentic Okinawan style handed down over generations, which focuses on physical fitness, self-improvement, self-defense, and mental well-being. The dojo values a friendly atmosphere, serious training, mutual respect, and progress at one's own rate, making it a suitable place for students to learn and grow.
