Knoxville Academy of the Blade

The Knoxville Academy of the Blade is a HEMA school focused on the fighting arts of 16th Century Italy, specifically the Bolognese School. They specialize in the use of the sidesword and various companion weapons as well as other styles such as longsword, spear, and grappling. The school strives to create a safe and inclusive environment for students to explore physical combat, and they do not tolerate discrimination based on age, sex, gender, race, disability, or religion. They offer group classes and individual lessons, and they are available for demonstrations and workshops.
