Laramie Kempo Karate Club

The Laramie Kempo Karate Club, established in 1985 by Kyoshi Amber Travsky, offers traditional martial arts training to both youth and adults, starting at age 6. With a focus on affordable instruction in a relaxed yet focused environment, the club is committed to teaching the values of respect, discipline, and personal growth through martial arts. Kyoshi Travsky, who holds a black belt under Grand Master Stephen Blackburn, has continued to promote Okinawa Kempo in Laramie and eventually founded her own dojo. The club is affiliated with Lau Hau Kenpo (Tiger Kenpo), a style centered on life values rather than just physical techniques. The Laramie Kempo Karate Club also offers classes for the University of Wyoming community and continues to foster a welcoming space for martial arts students of all levels.
