About Us
Bay Area Tai Chi offers classes that focus on the teachings of Tai Chi, emphasizing the energies and dynamics of this ancient martial art. With a strong foundation in Yang style Tai Chi and Tai Chi Praying Mantis, students of all levels are welcomed and guided through each movement, concentrating on the fundamentals before progressing to more advanced skills. The classes are designed to improve balance, strength, and endurance while reducing stress and anxiety. Participants can expect a typical session to include warm-up exercises, instruction on forms, and practices such as qi gong, making Tai Chi a holistic approach to health and wellness.
