Wrexham Ki Aikido Club
The Wrexham Ki Aikido Club, established in 2017, operates as an extension of the Menai Ki Society located in Bangor, Gwynedd, and is fully recognized by The Ki Society in Japan. Our training is centered around four fundamental principles:
1. Maintain your center
2. Achieve complete relaxation
3. Keep your weight anchored
4. Cultivate your Ki
These principles are explored through two key areas of study:
- **Ki Development**: This module focuses on enhancing coordination and promoting a sense of calm through techniques such as breathing exercises and meditation.
- **Ki Aikido**: Here, we apply the concepts of Ki development through Aikido techniques, along with some weapons training. Our practice emphasizes a non-competitive and nurturing environment, accommodating individuals of all skill levels.
As a registered charity, we operate on a not-for-profit basis. We invite adults aged 14 and older to join us for classes every Thursday from
