Wolverhampton Ju-Jitsu Club
Wolverhampton Ju-Jitsu Club is an award winning and registered Ju-Jitsu club based in Wolverhampton. Formed 29 years ago, it is one of the oldest registered Ju-Jitsu clubs in the Midlands, specializing in teaching the Japanese Martial Art of Ju-Jitsu, Self Defence, and Atemijutsu. Ju-Jitsu employs a combination of grappling, strikes, blocks, holds, locks, chokes, immobilization, and throws to overcome an opponent. It serves as an effective form of self defence and a great way to improve overall physical fitness for individuals of all ages and fitness levels. The instructors are qualified up to NVQ Level 3 in Teaching & Coaching, and all teachers are CRB checked. The club is part of the Korekushon Jujitsu Association, which includes other clubs in the Midlands.
