Edinburgh & Linlithgow Renaissance Fencing Academy

This is the official website of Edinburgh & Linlithgow Renaissance Fencing Academy (ERFA). We practise Italian styles of Historical Fencing, studying European swordsmanship from historical periods when the sword was used in real combat. The training weapons and techniques differ from modern sports fencing. Our classes are adults-only (age 18+) but are otherwise open to all, no previous experience needed.
